My after school program focuses on a specific area the student is having difficulty with.  Usually this is math or reading.  Parents also appreciate that this time is used to complete the daily or weekly homework assignments. Children in K-2  have their homework assigned at the beginning of the week.  They usually have a homework packet sent home on Mondays with all the assignments included.  If they are struggling in math, we can  complete all the math assignments together in one session. 

We can also use this time to work on any projects the student may be assigned, such as book reports, dioramas, etc. 

Some students combine two sessions, for a total of 2 hours of dedicated time once a week.  Other students come twice a week.  The choice is up to you!  Usually one session per week is all that is needed for a student who struggles in a given area.  I offer two session times on Monday’s through Thursday’s.  The first is 4:00-5:00 and the second is 5:00-6:00.  If you are interested in Saturday tutoring, I will be offering that this year also. Thank you for reading and I look forward to working with your child!
